Gohou DANON, PhD
Dr. Gohou Danon specializes in economic forecasting, market finance, machine learning and ESG assessment. He is the founder and CEO of Byond Financials, the first pan-African ESG rating agency.
Dr. Gohou Danon began his academic journey with a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Félix Houphouet-Boigny in Côte d’Ivoire, before pursuing an MS.c in Financial Markets and Derivatives at London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in Economics at the University of Lorraine in France, where he furthered his research on economic dynamics in UEMOA countries.
Over the years, Dr. Gohou Danon has also strengthened his skills with several prestigious professional certifications. He has notably obtained certifications in Macroeconomics Diagnostics and in Public Debt, Investment, and Growth: The DIG and DIGNAR Models with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He also acquired skills in Impact Measurement & Management for the SDGs with Duke University, and in Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) Specialization. More recently, Dr. Danon specialized in sustainable investing.
Professionally, Dr. Gohou Danon has accumulated a wealth of experience in various leadership and analyst roles. As a Deputy Director at Bloomfield Investment Corporation in Côte d’Ivoire, he acquired excellent skills in financial ratings and country risk analysis, leading a team of economists and supervising evaluation projects. In London, he worked as a Trading Manager at Silk Invest, where he led trading activities in international financial markets. He also contributed to education as an Assistant Lecturer at Keele University in the United Kingdom. In addition, Dr. Danon gained experience at Now-Casting Economics Ltd, a London-based company specializing in real-time economic forecasting.

Prof. Daniel BROBY, PhD
Professor Daniel Broby is a widely respected finance academic and former senior executive in the fund management industry. He currently holds the Chair of Financial Technology at the University of Ulster and is Director of the Centre for Financial and Regulatory Technology. In these roles, he is a thought leader and influencer.
Professor Broby’s broad research interests include the applications of FinTech in financial markets, indices and benchmarks, and the evolving policy and regulatory landscape. His research interests include the changing nature of time series, financial business models, disintermediation and the impact of disruptive innovations. This includes the fund management industry, the use of blockchain and distributed ledgers in the financial ecosystem, and central bank digital currencies.
Professor Broby has contributed to academic research through articles in peer-reviewed financial journals, including Q1 impact factor journals such as Financial Innovation, Financial Research Letters and Quantitative Finance. He has also made significant contributions to journals such as the Journal of Finance and Data Science, the Journal of Financial Transformation, Internet Science, Artificial Intelligence for Capital Markets, and the Journal of Business Thought. In addition, he has addressed policy issues in journals such as the Journal of Economic Policy Reform, the Law and Financial Markets Review, and Technology and Regulation. His commitment to research and innovation is highlighted by research grants awarded by the ESPRC, the Scottish Government and the AFRC Route to Impact Fund.
In addition to his research contributions, Professor Broby has held senior positions in the fund management industry, including as a Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager. He has served on the boards of regulated companies and professional bodies in the financial sector, receiving accolades such as the CFA Institute Society Leader Award. His diverse experience includes non-executive and directorships in asset management companies and collective investment vehicles.
Professor Broby holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance, an M.Phil in Economics and an MSc in Investment Analysis. He has been an elected individual member of the London Stock Exchange. He is also a Chartered Fellow of CISI, an Honorary Fellow of CFA (UK), and a Senior Fellow of the HEA.

As a consultant, Mohamed successfully led Intel Finance Services (IFS) in providing tailored business consulting solutions, specializing in ESG compliance, Islamic finance and investment advisory. His leadership in strategic planning and project management has enabled the seamless delivery of high-impact initiatives, while aligning with client objectives and industry standards. He has a strong track record in optimizing market entry strategies and expanding business portfolios in both developed and emerging markets.
Additionally, Mohamed’s deep knowledge in renewable energy solutions allows him to take a holistic approach to ESG rating, with a focus on sustainability, ethical finance and social impact.
Mohamed’s collaborative approach will enable the ESG Rating Initiative to deliver impactful, compliant and future-ready solutions to its clients.

Fatim Comoe Coulibaly is a sustainable development expert, passionate about implementing responsible practices and creating shared value. A PhD student in sustainable development, she devotes her research to the impact of climate change on renewable energy development processes.
With a Master’s degree in Economic Ethics and Sustainable Development, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, Fatim has acquired a solid academic background that allows her to approach the issues of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development with an informed perspective. She has also enriched her career with several certifications, including in climate finance, project management, green digital skills and the ASPIRE program for business growth, demonstrating her commitment to staying at the forefront of developments in her field. Her professional background gives her the ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies, while ensuring environmental and social performance reporting. Fatim also participates in female mentoring projects in the fields of energy and climate with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). Her experience includes missions within the United Nations, as well as immersions in renewable energy projects, such as the Ten Merina solar power plant and the Taiba N’Diaye wind farm.
Fatim is recognized for her ability to mobilize stakeholders, moderate panels and facilitate workshops, which makes her a valued professional in the sector. In parallel, she is the founding president of the NGO Modération, which works to promote ecological values through volunteer actions. A member of the Lions Club International, she is actively involved in community and sustainable development initiatives. Hari Amadou is a Statistician Engineer graduated from ENSEA in Abidjan and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Consultant for the World Bank’s Project for the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in Africa (PHAS), he works at the National Agency of Statistics (ANStat) in Côte d’Ivoire, contributing to the development of the Quarterly National Accounts. Certified by the IMF Institute in national accounts statistics, he applies the recommendations of the 2008 SNA to modernize Ivorian economic systems. At the same time, he teaches statistics, particularly data analysis and time series. He also acquired expertise in traffic flow analysis during his experience at SOTRA.

Aude Gnago specializes in sustainable development, with a particular focus on ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) analysis and the impact of responsible investments. She is convinced that the integration of extra-financial criteria is an essential solution to ensure the sustainability of companies.
Holder of a Master 2 in public law from the Félix Houphouet Boigny University, Aude also has a Master in Economic Ethics and Sustainable Development obtained from CERAP. In addition, she is certified by the Candriam Academy (accredited training platform for sustainable and responsible investment) in ESG analysis of companies, allowing her to acquire a solid theoretical basis in the evaluation of the social and environmental performance of organizations.
On the professional level, Aude has held key positions in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. In particular, she worked as a CSR assistant at Zara Transit, where she contributed to CSR audits and proposed improvements to ongoing initiatives. Subsequently, she joined Vision & Stratégie Groupe as a Sustainable Development Assistant, where she was responsible for responding to calls for tenders in sustainable development and for monitoring and reporting on client assessment and support missions.
Her academic and professional knowledge, combined with her determination to contribute significantly to improving business performance, enable her ESG rating initiative to offer relevant and sustainable solutions to clients.
